Made by SMS Master Saddlers Ideal Saddles in Walsall England in conjunction with Equi-Fit, this saddle is beautifully crafted using traditional methods and the very best English leathers.  If you are looking for something that is custom and classic with a modern design to really stand out from the crowd, this saddle is for you.

The sympathetic seat has been designed for ultimate rider comfort with customisable blocks.  The tree is equally sympathetic for your horse and can be ordered with custom panels to ensure optimum comfort and performance.

The Tree - popular and proven in the NZ market, this English spring tree has an open head, longer tree points and has good distance between the rails for broader backs.  It has a slight curve but not too much to suit a wide variety of NZ sport horses with medium to taller withers.

The Panel - generous English wool drop panel with a long front and deep rear gusset, all of which are customisable depending on your horse's posture and conformation.

The Leather - the best English full grain memel saddle butt is used on the base model.  The buffalo upgrade is also available.  The cantle, facings and welting colours are all customisable.

The Girthing - a point strap comes standard with the option to move this to the web, behind the point.  The rear strap is on a slide to allow for the perfect balance.

The Ride - deep seat with a medium twist.  The blocks are moulded on the base model but this saddle can be made with moveable blocks and the size and angle can be changed depending on the individuals preferred riding position and anatomy.

Special Features - the tree width is adjustable by the owner by half a size, great for those times between fittings, for a small change.  The tree is fixed at manufacture but can be adjusted by Equi-Fit up and down one size from original.  It is recommended that the tree only be adjusted 3 times in its lifetime.

To look after your lovely saddle, a complementary locally made  Equi-Fit leather care kit is included in the purchase price, as well as a luxurious Equi-Fit ride on saddle cover to stay protected in all conditions. 

Most aspects of this saddle are customisable.  The base price is for the base model and custom options are additional.  There is a five year warranty on the tree and one year on the leather.
